Hunting Season Wrap-upQuail flush

Many properties reported better hunting success in January and February after a slow dry start to the hunting season. While bird numbers were down this year after the severe drought many managers were pleasantly surprised with the bird numbers they saw at the end of the season and when burning the woods in March.

Naturalists’ Ball Comes Home
for a Special Birthday

Tall Timbers celebrated its 50th anniversary in style at the annual Naturalists’ Ball on Saturday February 16, 2008. Because of our very special anniversary occasion, the Naturalists’ Ball was brought back to the Beadel Lawn overlooking Lake Iamonia on the campus of Tall Timbers.
