Open House & Music Festival at Tall Timbers

12 Noon - 6:30 PM

Join us at Tall Timbers for a wagon tour through the pine forest, visit historic buildings and enjoy music to benefit an ancient forest.

Fee: $10 per person or $30 per vehicle (advance purchase), $40 per vehicle at the gate; $20 per vehicle for students with valid ID (advance purchase), $30 at the gate.

Open House
Open House activites begin at 12 noon and include: wagon tours of the property, Beadel House and Jones Tenant Family Farm tours, Tall Timbers Research and Land Conservancy exhibits, natural history exhibits, displays by environmental groups and a prescribed burn desmonstration. Also featuring early morning birding with Chris Borg.

Musical Festival - Music for an Ancient Forest
Enjoy a concert on the lawn of the Beadel House to benefit the Wade Tract Preserve and programs at Tall Timbers. Music begins at 2 PM with performances by: Sail High School Bluegrass Band, Bastards from Carolina, Bothy Gals, Knotty Pines Band, Velma Frye, Tanager and Friends and Eclectic Acoustic.

Best Table and Best Picnic Contest
Bring a picnic, cooler, lawn chairs and your dancing shoes (or tickle your bare toes in the lawn). The best table and best picnic each win a prize.

Other Stuff
Vendors will be selling snacks, drinks, hamburgers and hotdogs. Performers will be selling CDs of their music and cool stuff will be raffled.
