Partners and Sponsors of the Fire Ecology Database

Tall Timbers Research Station and Land Conservancy gratefully acknowledge financial assistance for the database from the Joint Fire Sciences Program, and the Southern Fire Exchange fire science delivery consortium. Their long term financial and in-kind contributions support the present and future existence of the database. The Fire Research and Management Exchange System (FRAMES) has also been instrumental in developing and housing the current Fire Ecology Database and Southern Fire Portal.

The USDA Southern Research Station also financially supported addition of southeastern materials to the database in conjunction with its internet-based Encyclopedia of Southern Fire Science. The International Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies assisted with expenses when the database was originally posted to the Tall Timbers web site. Tall Timbers Research Station and Land Conservancy thank these programs for their support.
