Description
Triple Creek Plantation is a private 3,500 acre property which includes a 1,500 acre wild quail plantation. We are currently seeking to hire a full time manager with pay commensurate with experience. Housing is available on property. Responsibilities of manager include, but are not limited to the below. -Responsible for meeting/facilitating habitat management goals including prescribed burning, flat mowing after burns, brood fields, road maintenance, herbicide treatments, blocking, and timber thinning. -Maintain and develop relationships with contractors to meet management goals including Tall Timbers Biologists, Sizemore & Sizemore Foresters, Land Clearing Companies, Landscape Companies, and Farm Supply Houses. -Continue intensive predator management program year round using 100 live traps equipped with radio transmitters. -Feed quail along established feed lines per Tall Timbers guidelines -Conduct Spring and Fall Quail counts to monitor quail numbers. -Responsible for arranging and facilitating all quail, turkey, and deer hunts. -Responsible for maintaining all equipment including side by sides, skid steer, tractors, chain saws/trimmers, 8 stand skeet range, and multiple implements. -Hire and manage part time employees to meet management goals. -Provide detailed monthly expense and trapping reports to land owner.
