This position is at a 20,000-acre quail plantation in Baker County, Georgia. The woods crew member will assist other crew members in the day-to-day application of wildlife management techniques and timber management. This includes safe tractor (100-130hp) operation with various mowers, harrows, planters and sprayers. Other responsibilities may or will include the safe operation of ATVs, tools and equipment necessary for minor repairs, front-end loader operation and other heavy equipment. The crew member will need to be self-motivated and be able to work with others to accomplish various tasks. This full-time position has health and retirement benefits as well as other benefits.
Minimum Education
High school
Other Qualifications
We're looking for a woods crew member that is prompt, a team player, courteous around hunting guests and is self-motivated. Experience with horses and dogs would be beneficial but not necessary.
