Description
Livingston Place in Greenville, FL is looking for a fulltime employee to join our team. We are looking for someone to assist in woods management, grounds maintenance. The job consists of driving tractors, UTV’s and ATV’s and also must be able/ willing to ride a horse during hunt season. You will help with prescribe burns, flat mowing, blocking, planting food plots, dove fields and more. You will also assist with yard work when needed, fence building. Salary based on experience. Health Insurance is offered. Vacation time included. Paid days off.

Other Qualifications
Previous experiences driving heavy equipment/ Riding Horses is preferred. The Livingston Place Land Management Technician Applicant must be prompt, a team player, courteous around hunting guests and is self-motivated. Experience with horses and dogs would be beneficial but not necessary. Additional tasks/skills the applicant will be asked to perform include: Tractor driving (roller chopping, mowing, fire break harrowing, planting, etc.)  Basic power equipment operation and maintenance (chainsaw, limb pruner, lawnmower, etc.)  Horseback hunting for wild quail  Assisting with wild quail field trials  Introduction to horse care and maintenance  Prescribed burning  Supplemental feeding including grain handling/storage  Wildlife research (radio-tracking quail, avian census, predator index, small mammal trapping, etc.)  Nest predator trapping  Quail trapping for research and translocation  Feral hog trapping  ATV and Truck/Trailer operation and maintenance
