DESCRIPTION:Join us for the Covey Film Festival showing at Tall Timbers on Tuesday\, January 23rd. Socializing starts at 6:00\, films start at 6:30. 10$ donations at the door benefit the Thomasville Community Resource Center. Advanced tickets are available here. \nWe will be screening two films this year. \nThe short film “Longleaf Forever” will be introduced by filmmakers Laura Albritton and Zickie Allgrove of Magic Kumquat Productions.\nThe feature film “Common Ground” will include introductory comments by Dr. Cheryl Mackowiak and Dr. Hui-Ling (Sunny) Liao from the University of Florida. Both Dr. Mackowiak and Dr. Liao research and conduct outreach on soil health\, a key topic in the film Common Ground. \n \n \n
